Office Administration
Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Office Administrator on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in the local area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive working environment, providing essential administrative support across a range of business functions. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, while providing a high level of service to both internal and external customers.
Working within a busy office environment, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including supporting recruitment, maintaining personnel and training records, processing customer applications and ID passes, preparing documentation and assisting with purchasing and payment procedures.
This role would suit an organised and detail-focused individual with previous administrative experience who is confident managing multiple priorities, communicating with a range of people and working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities of an Office Administrator:
- Answer telephone calls and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Draft reports, correspondence and other administrative documents.
- Order office supplies and equipment as required.
- Attend meetings and take accurate meeting notes and minutes.
- Prepare purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
- Ensure appropriate procedures are followed when arranging payments to service providers, consultants and contractors.
- Support recruitment activities and associated administrative processes.
- Maintain and update employee training records.
- Maintain and manage personnel files in accordance with company procedures.
- Vet customer application packs for new customers, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Book customers in for ID passes and process ID pass applications.
- Provide general administrative and office support across the business.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling customer, employee and company information.
- Prioritise daily workloads and ensure administrative tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
- Support the wider team with additional administrative duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required for an Office Administrator
- Previous experience within an administrative, office administration or similar role.
- Experience using office management tools and Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive problem-solving attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and confident telephone and customer service skills.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
- Excellent attention to detail when handling documentation and records.
- A 5-year checkable UK background .
Salary & Benefits for an Office Administrator
- Salary from £30,000 per annum .
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm .
