Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial information.
- Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
- Maintain project-related accounting records and cost summaries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with banks and government agencies as required.
- Coordinate and support the internal and external audit processes, ensuring the timely resolution of audit matters.
- Support corporate tax compliance matters as required.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in support of the Finance and Contract teams.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Prior experience in the construction industry will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
