With welcoming communities and outstanding access to nature, the RDFFG is an ideal place to build both a rewarding career and a ful?lling life.About the RoleThis is an incredible opportunity for an experienced and collaborative people leader to make a meaningful impact on environmental stewardship, community well-being, and the long-term sustainability of Regional District services and infrastructure.Reporting to the General Manager, Environmental Services, the Manager, Environmental Programs & Compliance provides strategic leadership for environmental programs, regulatory compliance, and service delivery across the RDFFG. This role oversees a diverse portfolio, including environmental monitoring, pollution control, waste diversion initiatives, and stewardship of regional parks, utilities, facilities, and natural assets.Working closely with staff, contractors, regulatory agencies, elected officials, and community partners, the Manager leads program planning, policy development, environmental compliance, and operational improvement initiatives. As a key member of the Environmental Services leadership team, the Manager helps shape long-term strategies, supports sustainable infrastructure and service delivery, and fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.The salary for this position is $108,500 - $125,000 annually and is supplemented by a competitive total compensation plan.
