The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff, and families to help remove barriers to learning, improve engagement, and support students in reaching their full potential.

The Role

• Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring support to students.
• Help improve attendance, behaviour, engagement, and overall wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with students who may require additional support.
• Work alongside teaching and pastoral staff to implement effective support strategies.
• Support students both in and out of the classroom where required.
• Liaise with parents/carers and external agencies when appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with young people in a school, youth work, mentoring, or support setting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and support students from a range of backgrounds.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and student welfare is desirable.
• Graduates considering a future career in education are encouraged to apply.
