Payroll Senior

Annual Salary: Up to £33,000 per year dependent upon experience

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Senior to join one of our dynamic Accountancy Practice clients. This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional payroll services across various sectors, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery for our diverse clientele. You will be part of a supportive network of payroll professionals, contributing to our mission of building strong client relationships through modern tools and responsible practices.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, including Auto Enrolment and BACS payments.
• Manage full payroll processes and establish strong working relationships with clients.
• Stay updated on payroll legislation and industry changes through independent research.
• Collaborate within the payroll team and wider group to share knowledge and maintain best practices.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues, clients, HMRC, and other third-party providers.
• Address and resolve payroll-related and customer service issues.
• Perform additional duties as needed within the payroll department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in a payroll bureau, ideally within an accountancy practice.
• CIPP qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory requirements, and Auto Enrolment.
• Experience with payroll software, BrightPay experience is a bonus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
