Preschool Psychologist (5 days office hours/ Punggol) #HGN

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Pre-Admission Screening (PAS) as part of a transdisciplinary team to identify children's developmental strengths, needs and intervention priorities and develop Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) with measurable goals.
• Monitor children's developmental progress through ongoing assessments and contribute to decisions regarding intervention planning and educational placement.
• Administer and interpret formal School Readiness Assessments (SRA) to support recommendations for appropriate school placement beyond Early Intervention.
• Conduct Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNA) to support Primary 1 deferment applications where required.
• Facilitate transition planning to ensure continuity of support across educational settings.
• Design and implement evidence-based psychological interventions targeting emotional regulation, behavioural management, social communication and social skills development, tailored to each child's individual needs.
• Provide consultation and coaching to transdisciplinary team members, caregivers and early childhood educators to promote consistent implementation of therapeutic, behavioural and learning strategies across home and school environments.
• Deliver professional development, training and clinical supervision to staff and educators to strengthen intervention practices and service quality.
• Collaborate closely with allied health professionals, educators and families to deliver integrated, family-centred intervention services.
• Participate in programme evaluation, quality improvement initiatives and research projects to enhance service effectiveness and evidence-based practice.

Requirements:

• Master’s in clinical psychology/Educational Psychology
• Member of the National Psychological Society or a registered psychologist
• Relevant clinical experience with children
• Conversant in learning, emotional and social development skills, children development and classroom management skills
