Bakery Assistant

Responsibilities:

Assist bakers in preparing ingredients (measuring, weighing, sifting flour, mixing doughs and batters) according to specific recipes. Clean, sanitise, and wash baking tools, equipment, counter surfaces, and storage areas in accordance with food safety standards. Help receive, unpack, rotate, and properly store raw ingredients and baking supplies; monitor stock levels and report shortages. Greet bakery customers, answer product questions, take special orders, and operate cash registers or point-of-sale systems (in retail bakery settings).

Requirements:

Minimum qualification of OND. 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
