Risk & Compliance Lawyer Hertfordshire Hybrid Working (3 days in office)

Looking to move away from fee-earning and build a broader career in legal risk and compliance? This could be a great opportunity for a lawyer with 3+ years’ PQE who wants hands-on exposure across data protection, AML, regulatory compliance and wider firmwide risk. You’ll join a supportive team and play a key role in helping strengthen the firm’s risk and compliance framework.

What will you be doing?

• Handling day-to-day data protection matters, including SARs and potential data breaches
• Supporting the DPO with GDPR and wider data protection queries
• Conducting AML and KYC checks as part of client onboarding
• Supporting ongoing AML compliance
• Contributing to firmwide risk and compliance projects
• Responding to risk queries and providing practical guidance
• Assisting with professional negligence claims
• Supporting client complaint responses
• Drafting and updating policies and procedures
• Carrying out file audits and compliance reviews
