Dentist

We are looking for a Locum Dentist with Full Registration with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) to join our dental clinic and provide general dental care to our patients on an ad-hoc or scheduled basis. Key Responsibilities Provide dental consultations, examinations and diagnosis. Perform general dental procedures such as:Scaling and polishingDental fillingsSimple extractionsEmergency dental treatmentPreventive dental careOther general dentistry procedures within the dentist’s scope of practice Develop appropriate treatment plans and explain treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain accurate and complete clinical records. Ensure proper informed consent is obtained prior to treatment. Provide appropriate post-treatment instructions and follow-up care. Work closely with dental assistants, front desk staff and other members of the clinical team. Maintain high standards of infection control, patient safety and clinical hygiene. Ensure all treatments and clinical practices comply with Singapore Dental Council requirements and clinic protocols. Refer patients appropriately for specialist treatment where required. Assist with management of dental emergencies when necessary. Requirements Full Registration with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) is required. Valid SDC practising certificate. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent recognised dental qualification. Professional indemnity coverage as required. Good clinical and patient management skills. Able to communicate treatment options clearly and professionally. Responsible, punctual and able to work independently. Comfortable working with a dental team in a busy clinical environment. Working Arrangement Locum / Part-Time / Ad-hoc sessions. Weekday and/or weekend sessions may be available. Working hours and frequency can be discussed based on clinic requirements and dentist availability. Remuneration structure will be discussed during the interview. Preferred Experience in general dentistry is preferred. Comfortable managing a broad range of general dental cases. Dentists who are able to commit to regular locum sessions will be advantageous.
