Events Executive (Govt and Corporate)
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a role for someone who decides what needs to happen and drives it to delivery, without needing to be reminded twice. Progression is earned through outcomes, not time served. This is an entry point, not a fast-track.
At PurpleForest, successful events are delivered by people who take ownership, solve problems and care about outcomes. As an Events Executive, you will work closely with managers and project teams while owning your outcomes end-to-end.
The role spans client management and business development, giving you a broad view of how projects are won, delivered and closed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Defined Project Outcomes: Take accountability for scoped outcomes, delivering them accurately, professionally and on time, not just completing assigned activities.
- Earn Client Confidence : Understand client needs, communicate proactively and follow through on commitments to build trust and future opportunities.
- Drive Projects Forward : Maintain momentum by aligning timelines, vendors and requirements, anticipating dependencies and resolving matters without repeated reminders.
- Solve Problems Proactively : Anticipate risks and implement practical solutions within your scope before they affect the client, project or team.
- Contribute to Business Growth : Spot areas to add client value, help develop proposals and quotations, and follow-up with suitable opportunities.
- Deliver and Close Well : Own delivery outcomes from planning through execution and closure, aligning operational details and commitments to the required standard.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Relevant Experience: 2–3 years of experience in events, project management, account servicing or a client-facing role, including clear examples of independently moving work forward and delivering agreed outcomes.
- Ownership & Initiative: A track record of taking responsibility for outcomes and following through without needing repeated direction, even under shifting priorities.
- Communication & Commercial Awareness: A confident communicator who moves proposals and opportunities forward without being asked twice.
- Team Accountability and Adaptability: Collaborate effectively while remaining personally accountable for your outcomes, raising issues early and maintaining quality and follow-through when priorities or requirements change.

Base Salary: SGD $3,500 – SGD $4,000
