Role overview
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, collaborating with consultants, specialists, nurses and allied healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care. The role will involve the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.
Key responsibilities
Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
Conduct comprehensive cardiac consultations and develop appropriate treatment and management plans.
Interpret relevant diagnostic investigations, including ECGs, echocardiography, stress testing and other cardiac investigations within the scope of practice.
Manage patients with conditions including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and other cardiovascular disorders.
Provide appropriate preventive cardiology and risk-factor management.
Collaborate with other specialties for multidisciplinary patient management and continuity of care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with applicable clinical and patient-safety standards.
Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.
Requirements

American Board or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in cardiology
UK CCT / MRCP with recognised specialist cardiology training
European Board or equivalent recognised cardiology qualification
Royal College Certification (Canada)
Australian FRACP or equivalent recognised qualification
Arab Board
MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in cardiology
