Storage and Backup Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Storage, or Backup Management.
• Good understanding of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and DAS.
• Hands-on experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam, Veritas NetBackup, or Commvault.
• Familiarity with storage technologies from Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, or IBM.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of backup strategies, data replication, and Disaster Recovery.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule or on-call rotation if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in storage, backup, or IT infrastructure.
• Experience in enterprise data center environments.
• Knowledge of cloud backup and hybrid infrastructure.
