Purchasing Specialist

Purchasing with technical background (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics)

1. Sourcing and Purchasing:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies.
• Minimum 2 year experience
• Understand the flow of purchasing from purchase requisition to incoming goods.
• Familiar with the sourcing and purchasing goods direct from maker or factory and e-commerce

1. Supplier Management:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement activities.

1. Inventory Management:

• Coordinate with inventory control staff to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records

4.Collaboration:

• Work closely with various departments such as finance, operations, and production to understand and fulfill their procurement needs.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support project initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related field
• At least 1-2 years of work experience in purchasing or sourcing
• Able to speak and write English
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Experienced in sourcing and purchasing goods directly from manufacturers, factories, or distributors
• Familiar with procurement vai e-commerce platforms
• High integrity: honest, hardworking, caring, positive-minded, motivated and loyal
