Purchasing Packaging Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of working experience in packaging procurement, preferably within the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), or Packaging Manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills:

o Strong expertise in sourcing and procurement for both flexible packaging (e.g., laminates, pouches, films) and rigid packaging (e.g., corrugated boxes, plastic containers, tins/cans). o In-depth knowledge of packaging material specifications, printing processes, and quality standards. o Proven track record in vendor management, cost negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation. o Solid understanding of material costing, market analysis, and supply chain management.

• Soft Skills: strong analytical and meticulous skills, with outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
• Language: Proficiency in English

Job Description:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for both flexible and rigid packaging materials.
• Conduct market research, sourcing, and supplier evaluation to secure optimal pricing, quality, and supply continuity.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality Control teams on new packaging development, specifications, and trials.
• Ensure the timely availability of all packaging materials according to production schedules and factory demand.
• Monitor vendor SLAs, delivery performance, and manage ongoing supplier relationships.
• Prepare regular reports on cost-saving initiatives, budget tracking, and packaging market trends.
