Business Process Analyst & Tester

Job Description

• Analyze and document business requirements, processes, and system workflows based on business needs.
• Gather requirements from business users and stakeholders and translate them into functional requirements and system specifications.
• Create and maintain Business Process Flow, Functional Documentation, SOP, and other related documents.
• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and system requirements.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track bugs/issues, including providing clear steps to reproduce and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Users, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve system issues.
• Perform requirement validation and gap analysis to ensure the system meets business requirements.
• Conduct test result analysis and prepare testing reports and documentation.
• Support UAT and system implementation, including coordination with business users.
• Ensure business processes and system functionalities are aligned with defined requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, requirement discussions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Business Process Analysis, Business Analysis, Software Testing, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and software testing.
• Experienced in analyzing business requirements and translating them into business process flows, functional requirements, and test scenarios.
• Experienced in creating test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Familiar with Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Black Box Testing.
• Able to identify, document, and track bugs/issues and work closely with developers to resolve them.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication skills and able to collaborate with business users, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Familiar with SDLC and STLC and Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of UML/BPMN, SQL, API Testing (Postman), or test management/bug tracking tools is a plus.
