Translator

We are seeking a talented Translator to join our team at PT CAHAYA LAMBANG LOGISTIK' in Papua Barat. As a Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication and information exchange across our organisation. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute your language expertise and support our administrative and office support operations. What you'll be doing

• Translate a variety of documents, including correspondence, reports, and other materials, between English and Indonesian languages
• Ensure accurate, high-quality translations that preserve the original meaning and tone
• Proofread and edit translated documents to maintain consistency and clarity
• Collaborate with team members to understand context and requirements for each translation project
• Provide language support and interpretation services as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Fluency in both Mandarin and Indonesian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience as a professional translator, with a strong track record of delivering accurate and timely translations
• Excellent command of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in both languages
• Ability to interpret context and nuance to produce translations that capture the intended meaning
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills to ensure high-quality output
• Proficiency in using translation software and other relevant tools
• Adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines
