Senior Devops Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and maintain Development Operations (DevOps) environments to support application development, deployment, and operational activities.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Manage and administer containerized application environments using enterprise container orchestration platforms.
• Deploy, configure, and manage workloads using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Perform Kubernetes cluster administration, including deployment management, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resource management.
• Implement and maintain container orchestration environments to ensure application availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Automate development and deployment processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and release speed.
• Collaborate with Software Developers, System Administrators, QA Engineers, and Infrastructure teams to support end-to-end application delivery.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot deployment, container, and platform-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for DevOps and infrastructure incidents.
• Maintain DevOps technical documentation, including deployment procedures, system configurations, operational processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Support system integration, environment provisioning, application deployment, and production operations.
• Ensure DevOps implementation follows applicable technical standards, security practices, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical support for enterprise container orchestration platforms and contribute to continuous improvement of the DevOps environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1)
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the last 5 years in Development Operations (DevOps) system installation/deployment projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and enterprise application deployment.
• Experience administering and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift or other enterprise container orchestration platforms.
• Good understanding of containerization, application deployment, cluster management, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated deployment, system monitoring, and troubleshooting is preferred.

Mandatory Certifications:

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) / The Linux Foundation.

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) in OpenShift / Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (EX280); or
• Higher-level Red Hat OpenShift certification; or
• Equivalent SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA) certification.
