Backend Golang Senior (remote)

Role Overview Astro is hiring Backend Engineer (Golang) to support a Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Commercial/Vendor Management team projects. The role will focus on building and improving backend services for warehouse inbound/outbound processes, as well as commercial/vendor mgt team, ensuring scalability, performance, and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend features based on business and stakeholder requirements.
• Design scalable systems with strong performance and reliability.
• Improve existing systems and reduce technical debt.
• Support production issues (quick fixes and long-term solutions).
• Maintain BAU features such as:

> Capacity handling > Purchase request creation > Order list management > Vendor management system > SKP > Pricing

Project Details

• Projects: Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Commercial/Vendor Management team
• Duration: 6 months (extendable)
• Work arrangement: Remote
• Working hours: Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 6 PM (break 12–1 PM)
• Daily standup: 10.30 AM
• Work style: Result-oriented

Requirements

• Have a bachelor's degree in related field (preferred in IT / engineer, but open for Finance, economy, accounting, physics)
• Experience: Min. 6 years as Backend/Software Engineer and have strong experience in coding
• Golang Native experience: Min. 4 years (active user)
• Strong in Golang Native, SQL, NoSQL, System Design, Coding
• Familiar with PostgreSQL (plus)
• Experience in e-commerce / logistics / supply chain is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills (Astro values structured and confident communication)
