Android Developer - (Banking Industry)

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our Banking Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital banking solutions while ensuring compliance with security standards, application quality, and best development practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile banking applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs while ensuring secure communication between mobile applications and backend systems.
• Implement modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or MVI.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, memory consumption, battery usage, and responsiveness across various Android devices.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including biometric authentication, encryption, secure storage, and certificate pinning.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, UI testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployment.
• Manage application releases through the Google Play Store and support production deployments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience as an Android Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Extensive experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack libraries.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture components, including ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation Component, Room, and WorkManager.
• Experience implementing MVVM, Clean Architecture, or MVI.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON-based web services.
