HR Manager

HR Manager £60,000-£65,000+ depending on experience | Bedford | Fully on site

I'm recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join an established business with Head Office functions based across Bedford. This is a fully site-based role, so it will suit someone who enjoys being visible, building relationships and working closely with managers and teams face to face. This is a broad generalist HR role with a strong focus on employee relations and providing practical HR support to the business.

The role will include:

• Providing HR advice and support across employee relations, performance and people development
• Managing employee relations cases from start to finish
• Building strong relationships with managers and stakeholders
• Coaching and supporting managers through people issues
• Supporting HR projects and process improvements
• Using HR data and reporting to support decision-making
• Maintaining accurate HR records and case documentation
• Ensuring HR processes are followed consistently and compliantly
• Supporting a small HR team

You'll need:

• Strong generalist HR experience
• Solid employee relations experience, including managing cases through to resolution
• CIPD qualification, HR degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in a fast-paced or operational environment would be useful
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good judgement and the ability to deal confidently with sensitive situations
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Experience working with HR systems and data
• Workday experience would be highly beneficial

The successful person will be someone who is comfortable getting out into the business, building trust with managers and providing practical, commercially aware HR support.
