Senior Landscape Engineer

We are seeking an experienced senior landscape architect to join our team in Cairo, Egypt . The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural and urban design background with solid experience in reviewing and coordinating landscape design drawings for real estate development projects. Responsibilities Review and evaluate landscape architectural drawings , ensuring compliance with project design concepts, standards, and requirements.

Review hardscape and softscape designs , layouts, details, and specifications from a design and architectural perspective.

Coordinate landscape designs with architecture , urban design, infrastructure, MEP, and other disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.

Review landscape design submissions prepared by consultants and provide technical comments and recommendations.

Review materials, finishes, paving, street furniture, planting concepts, and landscape elements to ensure alignment with the overall project design.

Review landscape-related shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation .

Participate in design meetings and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.

Conduct site visits when required to ensure that landscape works are executed in accordance with the approved design drawings and specifications .

Identify design discrepancies and coordinate the necessary corrective actions.

Support value engineering exercises while maintaining the required design quality and project vision.

Ensure landscape designs comply with relevant codes, project standards, and technical requirements.

Prepare design review comments, technical reports, and follow-up documentation.

Bachelor's degree in architecture , landscape architecture, urban design, or a closely related field .

7–10 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture, urban design, or landscape design review, preferably within real estate development or consultancy firms .

Strong experience in reviewing landscape architectural drawings and design packages .

Solid understanding of hardscape and softscape design from an architectural and urban design perspective.

Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, paving, landscape details, and external works .

Experience in multidisciplinary coordination with architecture , urban design, infrastructure, and MEP teams .

Ability to review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications .

Good understanding of value engineering and design optimization .

Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant architectural/design software.

Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

An architectural/urban design background is highly preferred.

The role is focused on landscape design review and technical coordination rather than landscape maintenance or softscape maintenance .
