We are looking for an ambitious Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our growing recruitment team. We’re particularly interested in individuals with a sporting background or anyone who can demonstrate the same qualities developed through sport — determination, resilience, teamwork, discipline and a desire to win.

No previous recruitment experience is required. We provide full training, coaching and ongoing development to help you build a successful career in recruitment.

The Role

As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of the recruitment process, developing relationships with both candidates and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing and interviewing candidates using job boards, LinkedIn and our internal database
• Building and maintaining strong candidate and client relationships
• Understanding client requirements and matching candidates to suitable opportunities
• Writing and advertising job vacancies
• Managing candidate applications and interview processes
• Developing new business opportunities through telephone and email outreach
• Negotiating offers and managing the recruitment process from start to finish
• Working towards individual and team sales targets
• Building your own network and developing a successful recruitment desk
• Providing an excellent level of customer service to candidates and clients

What We're Looking For

You may have a background in:

• University sport or competitive sport
• Team sports such as football, rugby, hockey, netball or cricket
• Individual sports such as athletics, tennis, swimming or martial arts
• Sports clubs, societies or competitive university activities
• Sales, hospitality, retail, customer service or other target-driven environments
