UAV Engineer (Electrical/Electronic) | Boon Lay | Up to $3500 | 5 Days #9398

1 year contract (renewable/convertible)

Working Location: Boon Lay

Working Hours: Mon-Fri (8am to 5.45pm)

Salary range: $3500 + Completion Bonus

Job Responsibilities: Design and develop electronic hardware components, including power distribution boards, sensor interfaces, communication modules, and control electronics

Perform system integration of UAV subsystems such as flight controllers, ESCs, motors, GPS modules, telemetry radios, cameras, gimbals, and mission payloads

Develop schematics, printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, wiring harnesses, and connector interfaces

Conduct power budgeting, battery management analysis, and implement EMI/EMC mitigation, grounding, and signal integrity practices

Support embedded systems bring-up, debugging, and hardware-software integration activities

Plan and execute laboratory and field testing to evaluate system performance, reliability, and environmental compliance

Diagnose hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions

Manage component selection, bill of materials (BOM), lifecycle considerations, and supplier coordination

Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including design files, test reports, and interface control documents

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards

Job Descriptions: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

1- 2 years of experience in drone assembly roles will be an advantage

Candidates without experience may apply as training will be provided

Sound understanding of electronic design principles, including sensor interfaces, power distribution, and communication modules

Hands-on experience in soldering and working with PCBAs or electronic test boards

Basic knowledge of programming languages such as  C, C++, or Python  is an advantage

Familiarity with UAV systems and architecture is an advantage
