About our client

Our client is a leading global investment firm with a long-term track record across private markets. The firm is looking to add a Principal to its APAC infrastructure team, which invests across Hong Kong, Japan, China, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and Australia through direct co-investments and fund commitments.

What the job involves

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading transactions from origination through to execution and portfolio management, working closely with senior stakeholders and investment partners.

Leading the evaluation and execution of direct infrastructure investments and fund commitments across APAC

Building and reviewing complex financial models, valuations, and investment cases to support decision-making

Leading commercial, financial, and operational due diligence alongside external advisors and management teams

Preparing and presenting investment recommendations to senior leadership and Investment Committee

Managing transaction execution, fund due diligence, negotiations, and documentation through to completion

Developing relationships with sponsors, advisors, management teams, and other market participants to originate and assess new investment opportunities

Who we are looking for

Significant transaction experience and proven track record of evaluating and executing investment opportunities in infrastructure, ideally within the APAC region

Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills, with a strong grasp of valuation and accounting concepts

Confident communicator, comfortable working in a collaborative, high-performance environment

Willingness to be based full-time in Abu Dhabi
