Bridge and Deck Operations:

• Conduct daily bridge and deck watchkeeping.
• Operate and maintain deck department equipment and gears.
• Prepare and execute docking plans as required

Safety and Compliance:

• Assist the Master in implementing and monitoring the Safety Management

System (SMS).

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and pollution prevention policies.
• Maintain life-saving and firefighting equipment to regulatory standards.

Cargo Operations:

• Planning cargo stowage, loading, and discharge.
• Supervise and oversee safe cargo operations to maintain ship stability.

Resource Management:

• Monitor and control freshwater, stores, spares, and other resources

onboard.

• Supervise crew training, drills, and evaluate deck crew performance.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records including logbooks, inventories, and maintenance

records.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company

procedures. Safety Officer Role:

• Act as the Ship's Safety Officer,responsible for onboard safety awareness and

practices.

• Promote a safety culture and ensure the well-being of all personnel onboard.

Requirements

• COC Class II or I
• Minimum 3 years of experience on board as Chief Officer on Oil / Chemical

Tanker.

• Good leadership, teamwork, management and communication skills
• Must be willing to follow Company planned working schedule on board

vessel.
