We are seeking an energetic, reliable, organized, and experienced part time Housekeeper to join our team at a unique residence and workplace in Hampton, Ontario. This is an opportunity to become the second member of our housekeeping team, working alongside an established team member to help maintain a beautiful, busy, and well-kept environment.
The successful applicant will play an important role in the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the residence and workplace, helping ensure that both spaces are welcoming, comfortable, and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who is hardworking and dependable, but who also genuinely enjoys housekeeping and takes satisfaction in a job well done.

*Duties *
Cleaning and Housekeeping
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including kitchens, washrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as required.
- Dust surfaces, wipe down tables and countertops, and clean frequently touched surfaces.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners as needed.
- Keep cleaning supplies and designated storage areas neat and organized.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or items requiring attention.
Laundry
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry as required.
- Operate washing machines and dryers safely and correctly.
- Iron and steam clothing, linens, and other fabric items as required.
- Hang, fold, press, and organize garments appropriately to prevent wrinkles and maintain their condition.
- Select appropriate washing, drying, ironing, and steaming settings based on fabric type and care instructions.
- Ensure clean, pressed, and steamed items are organized and returned to their designated locations.
- Maintain an orderly laundry and garment care area.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report any equipment issues or required maintenance.
General Responsibilities
- Monitor cleaning and laundry supplies and advise when replenishment is required.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safe handling instructions for cleaning products.
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when working around employees and other individuals on site.
- Complete assigned duties within the scheduled working hours.
- Perform other related housekeeping duties as reasonably required.

- 3-5 years of working in a busy private residence or business
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and adapt to changes well
- Ability to organize and manage their time with minimal supervision
- Strong people skills and able to work well with other staff
- Experience managing and executing competing needs of Laundry, Deep Cleaning, Tidying, Organizing, · · Household shopping
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (No sponsorship)
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Personable, friendly, warm and approachable
- Be a joyful and positive presence in the home, while maintaining tact and discretion to privacy
- Trustworthy and flexible with a can-do attitude
