We are looking for a Student Assistant to support our Data & Analytics department. This is an excellent opportunity for a student who wants practical experience working with data platforms, governance processes, documentation, and operational support activities in an international and highly technical environment. Nordic RCC – supporting security of supply and the green energy transition Nordic Regional Coordination Centre (RCC) provides critical services and insights to support the national Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark — to ensure the efficient operation and use of the Nordic power system and high security of power supply at any time. Based in Copenhagen, Nordic RCC is one of six RCCs in Europe, equally owned by the Nordic region's four electricity TSOs: Fingrid, Statnett, Svenska Kraftnät, and Energinet. As European power systems integrate and evolve to meet climate goals, Nordic RCC provides regional coordination, integrated services, regional insights and recommendations to the Nordic TSOs and their control centres, to support cross-border operational security 24/7. Right now, we are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Data & Analytics Department. What You Will Be Working On The Data and Analytics team consists of 10 employees and consultants and plays a central role in enabling data-driven decision-making across Nordic RCC. The team develops and maintains data pipelines, analytics products, BI solutions, platform services, and information services that support operational, strategic, and regulatory needs. As Student Assistant, you will support various initiatives across the department, with a primary focus on NRCC's analytics platform ‘BluePool’, and data governance activities. Examples of tasks may include: BluePool Support Assisting with user onboarding and access administration

Maintaining onboarding guides and user documentation

Supporting training sessions and workshops

Gathering and tracking user feedback

Assisting with testing of new BluePool functionality

Data Governance Supporting data governance processes and documentation

Maintaining data catalogues and metadata documentation

Assisting with data classification and governance activities

Supporting compliance and process-related initiatives

General Department Support Coordinating meetings and workshops

Maintaining team documentation and knowledge bases

Preparing presentations and communication materials

Supporting project coordination and follow-up activities

Assisting with ad hoc analytical and administrative tasks

Who We Are Looking For You are currently enrolled in a relevant university programme, for example within data science, computer science, engineering, information management, business analytics, economics, mathematics, or a similar field. You do not need extensive professional experience. What matters most is that you are curious, structured, and comfortable taking ownership of practical tasks — from organizing documentation and following up on details to supporting colleagues with day-to-day needs. We are looking for someone who: Is detail-oriented and follows tasks through carefully

Enjoys turning information into clear documentation, guides, or overviews that others can use

Communicates clearly in writing and verbally

Can work independently while also asking for input when needed

Has an interest in data, analytics, and digital platforms

Is comfortable using Microsoft Office tools

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with one or more relevant tools or concepts, such as Python, SQL, Power BI, enterprise architecture, data governance, or technical documentation. What We Offer: A flexible student position that can be adapted to your studies
