ANIMAL TECHNICIAN
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible in providing technical services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures Technical Services in Farms are being conducted regularly.
Ensures house to house, farm, and store visitation.
Ensures the conversion and development of new farm.
JOB TASKS
Business and Product Development
- Monitor performance of Lovefeeds products compared to the competitors.
- Assist in monitoring farm trials
- Converts other brand users in the assigned area.
- Maintain and increase the volume consumption of catered farms.
Technical Services
- Conducts house to house, farm, and store visits.
- Provide technical training and assistance to all catered farms such as:
- Assist Farrowing
- Castration
- Assist for breeding
- Vitamins supplementation
- Deworming
- Debeaking
Administrative
Submit the following reports:
- Weekly Visit Summary/ Planned and Actual Locator
- Weekly Competitors Activity Monitoring
- Weekly Farm Mapping Update
- Weekly Area Status Report
- Weekly Business Development Report
- Visited Farms
- Prospected and Converted Farm
- Farm Volume/Population
- Waiver for Surgical and Veterinary Drug Administration
- Weekly Liquidation Report of Revolving Funds
SKILLS REQUIRED
Technical Skills
- Farm Management
- Computer Literate
Behavioral Skills
- Follows instructions and perform task with minimal supervision.
AUTHORITIES
Recommends prospective farms in the area.
Perform supplementations to the animals in backyard and commercial farms with 5-50 sow level or its equivalent (applicable to Graduates of Animal Science or its equivalent).
Qualifications/Requirements:
Graduate of Agriculture major in Animal Science/Animal Husbandry or related courses
