SECOND MARINE ENGINEER

Assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine room operations. Supervise maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Conduct engine room watchkeeping and monitor machinery performance. Ensure proper operation of boilers, pumps, and auxiliary machinery. Manage planned maintenance and keep maintenance records updated. Monitor fuel, lubricating oil, and other engine room supplies. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures. Supervise engine crew and assign daily work as required.
