*Relay & Delivery Driver* *Full Time*

Join a growing company delivering live animals and pet supplies to retail stores across Ontario. We are looking for a reliable and punctual DZ driver to work three to four days per week on a regular short haul route between Toronto and Kingston.

*Schedule*

Three to four days per week Regular short haul route between Toronto and Kingston Additional schedule details will be discussed during the interview

*Responsibilities*

Drive 30' truck between Toronto and Kingston to meet another member of our delivery team and exchange vehicles. Assist with loading and unloading cargo Help deconsolidate shipments after arrival Prepare and palletize cargo for distribution by our fleet the following day Handle delicate and time sensitive shipments with care

*Requirements*

Valid DZ driver?s licence Clean driving record Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a strict schedule Physically capable of consistently lifting boxes weighing up to 20 lbs, with an average weight of approximately 8 lbs Comfortable assisting with warehouse and shipment preparation duties

Punctuality is extremely important. You will be meeting another driver in Kingston to exchange vehicles. Any delay affects the other driver and the following day?s distribution schedule.

Loading and unloading are completed primarily with a forklift. However, shipment deconsolidation requires carrying boxes and preparing palletized cargo.

A valid forklift licence is an asset. The right candidate can be trained and assisted with obtaining one.

*Compensation*

Starting wage of $23.00 per hour Opportunities for advancement
