*Responsibilities:*

  • Design in-restaurant marketing materials, including posters, window graphics, menu materials, digital menu-board assets, signage, promotional displays, and point-of-purchase materials
  • Adapt campaign creative across multiple formats, channels, and restaurant locations while maintaining a consistent overall campaign and brand identity
  • Take ownership of assigned design projects from initial concept through final delivery, managing priorities and timelines to ensure work is completed accurately, creatively, and on schedule
  • Ensure all creative materials maintain established brand standards for typography, imagery, messaging, tone, layout, and overall visual identity
  • Work with food and product imagery, including retouching, colour correction, cropping, composition, and optimization for print and digital applications
  • Assist with food, restaurant, lifestyle, and promotional photography, videography, short-form video, and motion graphics initiatives as required
  • Prepare and format artwork for professional print production and digital distribution, including resizing and adapting assets to required platform and production specifications
  • Review completed creative for accuracy, consistency, formatting, image quality, pricing, promotional details, technical specifications, and overall quality prior to publication or production
  • Stay current with graphic design, restaurant marketing, food photography, social media, digital advertising, and visual content trends, and identify relevant opportunities to strengthen brand communications
  • Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, social content, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and restaurant marketing
  • Communicate effectively with marketing, creative, operations, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding project requirements, timelines, specifications, feedback, and creative direction
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining design quality and brand consistency
  • Follow established creative direction, brand guidelines, approval processes, and project requirements
  • Maintain organized design files, templates, photography, brand assets, working files, and final artwork for ongoing and future use
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality, effectiveness, and consistency of visual communications and report creative, production, printing, or project-related issues promptly

*Requirements and Qualifications:*

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field required
  • Minimum 1?2 years of relevant professional graphic design experience, including experience designing for print and digital platforms
  • Proficiency with current versions of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles, including composition, layout, typography, colour, visual hierarchy, and image selection
  • Experience creating digital and social-first content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, websites, email marketing, and digital advertising
  • Strong understanding of adapting creative across digital formats, placements, screen sizes, and social media platforms
  • Ability to create compelling food, restaurant, hospitality, or lifestyle-focused creative that supports marketing objectives
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking with the ability to translate marketing briefs, promotions, products, and business objectives into effective visual communications
  • Understanding of food photography, image composition, product presentation, and visual storytelling considered a strong asset
  • Strong awareness of current social media, food, restaurant, lifestyle, and digital design trends, with the ability to apply relevant trends while maintaining established brand standards
