As an Operations Manager in the industrial industry, you'll oversee the daily functions of the engineering and processing department, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Based in Central Belt Scotland you'll play a key role in driving effective operations and supporting the wider team.

Description

• Manage and optimise daily operations within the engineering and process/manufacturing department.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Reviewing external contractors to make sure they are working to strict SLA's and commercials.
• Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and priorities.
• Analyse performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
• Oversee resource allocation and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to team members as required.

Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

• Experience in managing operations in an engineering or manufacturing context.
• Proven experience working in Energy from Waste, Recycling, Power Plant or Industrial backgrounds.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of operational processes and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong commercial experience needed.

Job Offer

• Salary between £70,000 and £90,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position based in Central Scotland
