Work closely with Team Leader in managing the projects in relation to façade inspection and investigation works
Review of façade shop drawings
Project management of façade A&A (Additions & Alterations) works
Carrying out façade inspections on both local and overseas jobs
Conduct visits to supplier’s factory both local and overseas, if required
Communicating with design team and as well as working autonomously
Attending inspections during construction, installation and fabrication on facade and steel structures
Witness Laboratory and site testing of façade
Perform inspection and facade investigation work
Preparation of reports for submission
Attend site technical and progress meeting
Resolve any technical problems faced during the project design and/or construction stages
Job Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering/Buildings or related discipline
Ideally 3 years’ facade inspection experience
Fully aware of all legislative requirements and other regulations governing Occupational Health and Safety and assist in ensuring these are adhered to within the office and on all projects
Familiarity with different type façade systems, able to read and understand façade shop drawing
Able to work at height and carry out inspection or investigate in gondola or other form of building maintenance system
High proficiency in ACAD, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Excellent written and spoken English
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments
Excellent and effective written communication and report writing skills
