New leadership rolewith ownership of the Singapore grains trading desk Opportunity toestablish and grow the physical trading business across wheat, maize/corn and rice

Responsibilities

Establish and grow the physical grains trading business, independently originating purchase and sales opportunities and developing sustainable trading flows across approved markets. Take full P&L ownership of the grains desk, managing profitability, realised trading margins, working capital, financing, freight, logistics, insurance, hedging, claims and other trading-related costs. Personally negotiate and execute physical commodity transactions end-to-end, covering pricing, contracting, financing, shipment, documentation, collections and claims resolution while coordinating with relevant internal functions.

• Manage commodity,counterparty, credit, FX, inventory and execution risks within approved limits,while developing a credible transaction pipeline and expanding the desk basedon established volumes and profitability.

Skills / Experience Required

• Preferably 10years or more of relevant physical agricultural commodity trading experience , with substantial direct experience in wheat, maize/corn and/or rice .
• Proven track record managing a profitable physical trading book covering at least two of the three commodities: wheat, maize/corn and rice.
• Demonstrated ownership of an independently managed trading book, desk or business line, with proven ability to generate realised margins and net contribution.
• Established andportable relationships with reputable suppliers and customers, with the abilityto independently originate both sides of physical commodity transactions.
• Strong knowledge of physical commodity trading, including Incoterms, freight, logistics, trade finance, documentation, insurance, hedging, claims, working capital and risk management.
