Machine Repair Technician

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, service, and repair construction equipment, including payloaders, concrete mixers, water drainage pumps, generators, and other site machinery.

Carry out routine equipment inspections.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational delays.

Fix mechanical, diesel, and engine-related faults.

Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards.

Perform any other equipment maintenance and repair duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a mechanic or repair technician for construction or heavy-duty equipment.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices (optional).

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and respond promptly Relevant technical certification or vocational training is an added advantage.
