Role Description The Technical and Partnership Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This role is responsible for translating client requirements and design concepts into technical specifications, drawings, and practical solutions for custom modern furniture. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients and production teams, reviewing technical feasibility, overseeing the workshop, and ensuring quality standards are met during manufacturing. The engineer will also identify, develop, and maintain partnerships strategies with business partners to introduce service offerings and possible opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in engineering or furniture design, including the ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • 0-2 years of experience working with manufacturing or production environments, preferably in furniture, interior design, or related industries.
  • Partnership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and business partners.
  • Project coordination abilities, including planning, time management, and follow-through on multiple assignments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills for assessing technical feasibility, resolving production issues, and improving deals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts or Architecture / Architectural Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with relevant design or CAD tools and Office suite, in addition to basic familiarity with materials, fabrication methods, and quality standards.

Ability to work on-site and to conduct filed visits to sites and possible parners in Cairo and adapt to a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
