Senior Projector Manager - Lighting

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead lighting, AV, multimedia, and integrated experience projects in Singapore from tender through final handover, collaborating closely with local and China-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage lighting, AV, multimedia, and integrated experience projects from tender preparation to final handover, ensuring timely and quality delivery
• Support tender preparation by reviewing scope, developing technical proposals, estimating costs, planning projects, and preparing tender documentation
• Develop and control project schedules, budgets, resources, and execution plans to meet project objectives
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, M&E contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and technical teams to ensure smooth project progress
• Collaborate with China-based management and technical teams on project planning, technical coordination, procurement, and delivery activities
• Oversee site installation, testing, commissioning, inspections, quality assurance, safety compliance, and project documentation management
• Review and interpret technical and electrical drawings, coordinating interfaces among electrical, lighting, AV, control, and other systems
• Manage project variations, subcontractor works, progress claims, and project costs to maintain financial control
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical, scheduling, and site issues proactively throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all project activities comply with Singapore construction regulations and workplace safety requirements
• Communicate clearly and manage stakeholders to facilitate coordination and problem resolution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, M&E, Construction, Lighting, AV, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 6 years of relevant project experience, including at least 3 years in project management or leadership roles
• Experience with Singapore projects in architectural lighting, façade/landscape lighting, AV systems, multimedia systems, attractions, entertainment/show systems, or specialist M&E systems
• Proven ability to manage projects through site installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases
• Ability to read and understand technical and electrical drawings and coordinate with consultants and contractors
• Experience in tendering, cost control, variation management, and subcontractor management
• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and workplace safety requirements
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous for coordination with China-based teams
• Knowledge of DMX, DALI, lighting control, AV systems, show control, AutoCAD, or DIALux is advantageous
• Relevant construction or safety certification is advantageous
