Saw Operator – 2 Shifts

Our client is a leading player in the event industry, specialized in the design and production of exhibition stand systems. The company is known for its innovative approach and high-quality products that are used worldwide at trade fairs, exhibitions, and events.

Are you experienced in operating sawing machines and working with aluminium profiles? As a Saw Operator, you will cut aluminium profiles according to technical drawings and ensure that every piece meets the required quality standards.

You will work in a modern production environment in Roeselare, alternating between series production, one-off production and special pieces. You will work in a 2-shift system and use an ERP system to process production orders.

Your main tasks include:

• Reading technical drawings and determining how the pieces need to be cut.
• Setting up the sawing machine, including the required lengths and cutting angles.
• Cutting aluminium profiles for series production, one-off production and special pieces.
• Checking your own work using gauges and measuring tools such as a tape measure and caliper.
• Recording quality checks on inspection sheets.
• Processing production orders in the ERP system Business Central – Propos.
• Communicating relevant information during shift handovers.
• Carrying out first-line maintenance, such as cleaning the machine and replacing saw blades.
• Supporting other workstations when necessary.
• You have experience as a Operator.
• You can read technical drawings related to sawing and cutting components.
• You can work with measuring tools such as a tape measure and caliper.
• You can speak English. This is a requirement for the position.
• Basic knowledge of Dutch, both spoken and written, is an advantage.
• Working in a 2-shift system suits you.
• You work accurately and check the quality of your own work.
• You keep your workplace clean and organised.
• Experience with an ERP system is an advantage.
