Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance and repair of CCTV and related security systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and pre-checks to assess site conditions and technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose CCTV systems, equipment, cabling, network connectivity and other system-related issues.
  • Attend to service calls and provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Carry out installation, replacement, configuration, testing and commissioning of CCTV and related equipment.
  • Check and troubleshoot cameras, NVR/DVR, network switches, power supplies, cabling and other related equipment.
  • Support the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of IP-based CCTV and security systems.
  • Perform basic system security checks, including user access, device connectivity, passwords and system configurations.
  • Support and troubleshoot related security systems such as access control, intercom and alarm systems, where required.
  • Identify system faults, abnormal system behaviour and potential security issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors and internal teams on site and technical matters.
  • Prepare service reports and maintain proper documentation of works completed.
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with site requirements and company procedures.

Requirements

  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant technical experience in CCTV, security systems, ELV systems or related fields will be an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of IP CCTV, networking, cabling, NVR/DVR and system configuration.
  • Knowledge of access control, intercom, alarm systems, cybersecurity or basic network security will be an advantage.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to perform hands-on technical work and work independently at different project or customer sites.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage.
