Accountabilities Support the Transload Final Mile team and customers with day-to-day transportation coordination and shipment requirements.

Coordinate transload, drayage, container, and full-truckload movements from dispatch through final delivery.

Monitor container and FTL activity to ensure shipments remain on schedule.

Coordinate with warehouses to monitor transload details and ensure customer requirements are met.

Dispatch containers and provide release information to carriers within required timelines.

Schedule delivery appointments while accommodating customer deadlines and operational requirements.

Monitor delivery milestones and maintain accurate shipment information in transportation systems.

Identify, manage, and resolve delivery exceptions, proactively communicating issues and proposed solutions.

Work with carriers, warehouses, customers, and internal stakeholders to address operational challenges.

Maintain accurate documentation and shipment records throughout the transportation process.

Prioritize multiple shipments, tasks, and projects while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience coordinating or dispatching drayage and full-truckload movements.

Demonstrated experience with ocean container transload activities.

Experience working in a CFS warehouse environment.

Familiarity with international freight, in-bond activities, drayage, freight forwarding, or customs processes is preferred.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing deadlines.

Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple assignments independently.

Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, honest, and comfortable working with limited supervision.

Professional and positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information appropriately.

Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and scheduling instructions.

Comfortable applying basic mathematical concepts, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions, to practical situations.
