Threat Analyst 1
Accountabilities: The role will focus on monitoring, investigating, and escalating cybersecurity threats while contributing to effective detection and response operations. Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and triaging potential cyber threats identified within customer environments.
Analyzing security alerts, logs, endpoint data, and threat intelligence information to support investigations.
Escalating confirmed or complex threats to senior threat analysts for further response and remediation.
Researching emerging indicators of compromise (IOCs), indicators of attack (IOAs), exploits, vulnerabilities, and threat trends.
Applying threat intelligence findings to improve detection capabilities and strengthen customer protection.
Supporting assigned cybersecurity projects and operational improvement initiatives.
Collaborating with security analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality monitoring and response services.
Maintaining accurate documentation and communication throughout threat investigation processes.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have foundational cybersecurity knowledge, strong analytical abilities, and a passion for threat detection and continuous learning. Required qualifications and skills include:
1–2 years of experience in a threat analysis, security operations, cybersecurity, or related role.
Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat landscapes, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
Experience with security monitoring, log analysis, endpoint security, or threat investigation processes is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to investigate problems creatively and methodically.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative security team.
Strong interest and passion for information technology, cybersecurity, and emerging security trends.
Curiosity and willingness to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and security practices.
Innovative mindset with a desire to contribute to a high-performing cybersecurity operations team.
