Accountabilities: The SW Development Intern/Data Analytics will assist with software development, database management, and analytics projects while gaining practical experience in engineering workflows. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn new technologies in a collaborative environment. Support the planning, coordination, and execution of database migration projects. Analyze existing database structures and assist in developing migration strategies that minimize disruption and maintain data integrity. Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database structures to improve system performance and efficiency. Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards using tools such as Grafana to analyze regression results. Assist engineering teams with software development and data analysis activities. Review technical requirements and contribute to solutions that improve system functionality. Support testing, reporting, and documentation activities related to development projects. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for process improvements. Apply analytical thinking to evaluate data and communicate meaningful insights. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a motivated learner with an interest in software development, database technologies, and data analytics. This opportunity requires foundational technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams. Interest in software development, data analytics, database systems, or related technology fields. Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts. Understanding of software development principles and data management practices. Ability to analyze technical information and identify solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to work on structured technical tasks. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and development processes. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with data visualization tools, database migration projects, or programming languages is a plus.
