Accountabilities: The Associate Director, Global Forecasting will lead the development and refinement of global forecasting models, strategic analyses, and business insights that support portfolio growth and investment decisions. This role will partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate forecasts, aligned assumptions, and actionable insights across product development and commercialization efforts.

Develop and maintain long-range forecast models and scenario plans across products, indications, and portfolio opportunities.

Partner with forecasting leadership to refine assumptions, methodologies, and strategic analyses supporting business decisions.

Conduct market, portfolio, and disease area assessments using insights from analytics, market research, and competitive intelligence teams.

Create patient-based forecasts and evaluate commercial opportunities, risks, and growth scenarios.

Support portfolio-level analyses through streamlined forecasting models and consolidation processes.

Communicate key forecast assumptions, methodologies, and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.

Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscapes, treatment trends, and healthcare environments to inform strategic planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, clinical development, medical affairs, and portfolio management.

Partner with regional forecasting teams to ensure consistency, alignment, and understanding of market-specific differences.

Track performance indicators and develop dashboards or analytical tools to support decision-making.

Manage relationships with external vendors and oversee forecasting-related deliverables and analyses.

Provide strategic recommendations by synthesizing complex information into clear business insights.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced forecasting and analytics professional with a strong background in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, oncology, or strategic consulting. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing ambiguity, and influencing decisions through data-driven insights.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

8+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare consulting, or related strategic analytics roles.

6+ years of experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, or market insights functions.

Proven experience developing long-range patient-based forecasts for oncology products.

Experience supporting pipeline strategy, portfolio decisions, and commercial planning initiatives.

Strong understanding of market research, competitive intelligence, analytics methodologies, and forecasting approaches.

Ability to analyze complex markets, disease areas, competitive environments, and healthcare dynamics.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills with experience managing research partners and analytical vendors.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability, curiosity, and comfort working in a rapidly evolving environment.

Preferred: Experience with targeted oncology therapies, global teams, and executive-level strategic recommendations.

Competitive base salary range of $186,000 - $233,000 USD .
