HR & People Operations Manager

About This Role Our client, an interior design and fitting company in the construction sector, is seeking a strategic and people-focused HR & People Operations Manager to oversee human resources operations and support the development of a high-performing workforce. Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee integration. Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and employee documentation. Coordinate performance management and employee development initiatives. Support employee engagement, welfare and retention strategies. Manage employee relations and resolve workplace concerns professionally. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Monitor attendance, leave and other HR-related activities. Support workforce planning and organizational development. Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian employment and labour regulations. Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field. 5+ years' experience in HR/People Operations, preferably in a fast-paced or growing organization. Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM or equivalent is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and labour regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organizational and people-management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
