PURCHASE ENGINEER (Up to $4,500 / 5 days / Pioneer)

PURCHASE ENGINEER (ID6145)

Location: Pioneer Salary: $3,000 – $4,500 Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8 AM- 6PM, Friday 8 AM- 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical parts, raw materials, electrical components, castings, forgings and other engineering materials.
• Review supplier quotations and conduct cost analysis to support competitive pricing and cost reduction.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, payment terms and service agreements with suppliers.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models and BOM for project costing.
• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, R&D, Production and QA teams on costing, supplier performance and improvement projects.
• Develop alternative and backup suppliers to minimise supply risks.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP MM, Oracle or similar systems.
• Handle other ad-hoc procurement duties as assigned.
