RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Formulate new products required by operation and/or customers or institutional clients. Assist clients (Toll Manufacturing) concerning trial and technology transfer. Review and update product standards based on existing formulation and improvements made. Reports to department concerned status of corrective actions implemented. Monitors and validates process and product conformance and recommends corrective action on any deviations to standard. Communicates performance standards to production, quality assurance and troubleshoot product non-conformances. Monitors adherence of government documents related to food regulatory requirements and food safety management system. Conduct sensory evaluation and shelf-life study of new product.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferably Food Technology • Experience / Qualifications / Skills: Prior experience in a manufacturing or Research and Development environment, strong organizational and computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential documents.
