*J & C Building Cleaning* is looking for *two reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaners* for a sporting facility in *Richmond, Ontario*.

This is a *seasonal overnight/early-morning position* starting around *October 15*.

2 Positions Available

There are approximately *19.5 total cleaning hours available each week*, which will be *divided between two cleaners*.

We will work with the successful candidates to determine which days and hours work best for each person.

The facility requires cleaning *7 days per week*:

  • *Monday:* 3 hours
  • *Tuesday:* 2.5 hours
  • *Wednesday:* 2.5 hours
  • *Thursday:* 3 hours
  • *Friday:* 2.5 hours
  • *Saturday:* 3 hours
  • *Sunday:* 3 hours

Cleaning can begin *anytime after 1:30 AM and MUST be completed by 7:30 AM.*

Applicants *do not need to work all 7 days*. The schedule and approximately 19.5 weekly hours will be divided between the two successful candidates.

On the *3-hour cleaning days*, additional time is provided for deeper cleaning and detail work, including baseboards, walls, windows, and other areas requiring additional attention.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize washrooms
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust throughout the facility
  • Clean common areas and high-touch surfaces
  • Empty garbage and recycling
  • Clean glass, doors, mirrors, and windows as required
  • Restock washroom and facility supplies
  • Complete scheduled detail and deep-cleaning tasks
  • Report maintenance or repair concerns
  • Follow company cleaning and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable performing physical cleaning duties
  • *Must have reliable personal transportation*
  • *Public transportation is not available during these overnight/early-morning hours*
