Cyber OT / IIoT Security Consultant

ITSEC, a leading APAC cybersecurity company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (“CYBR”), is seeking a Cyber OT / IIoT CyberSecurity Consultant to help clients secure industrial control systems (ICS), OT,IIoT, and SCADA environments . You will conduct risk assessments, threatmodeling, audit and cybersecurity evaluations , identify potential attack vectors,and provide actionable recommendations aligned with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, and CCOP standards .

The role requires strong knowledge of OT systems,ICS/SCADA architectures, endpoint and network security , and the ability to collaboratewith clients and project teams to deliver consulting, penetration testing,and advanced security solutions.

Job Responsibilities

As a Cyber OT / IIoT Security Consultant at ITSEC, you will help critical industries secure their operational technology and IIoT environments by:

• Conducting risk assessments, threat modeling, audit and cybersecurity evaluations for industrial control systems (ICS), OT, IIoT, SCADA, on-prem IT, and cloud environments .
• Analysing complex systems—including network architecture, controls configuration, OT/IIoT devices, and cloud deployments—to develop a comprehensive understanding of operations and potential vulnerabilities.
• Identifying, assessing, and communicating cybersecurity risks, including potential attack vectors that could disrupt operations or compromise safety.
• Applying strong knowledge of OT systems, ICS, and SCADA environments to provide contextually relevant security recommendations.
• Collaborating with clients to gather information, clarify requirements, and manage expectations throughout engagements.
• Developing actionable security recommendations and improvement plans that balance cybersecurity needs with operational constraints.
• Reviewing system and network architectures and assessing OT/IT practices against regulatory and industry standards, including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and CCOP .
• Participating in project teams under the guidance of experienced consultants and contributing to high-quality deliverables.
• Working alongside subject matter experts to deliver integrated solutions, including penetration testing, red teaming, and advanced security assessments for critical infrastructure operators.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in IT/OT cybersecurity, including risk assessment, threat modeling, audit or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of OT systems, industrial control systems (ICS) such as SCADA, DCS, PLC , and their security challenges.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and compliance , including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and relevant IT/OT best practices .
• Hands-on knowledge of endpoint security, network security, intrusion detection, and access control .
• Relevant certifications are advantageous:
• Cybersecurity certifications: OSCP, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM
• OTcybersecurity certifications: GICSP, GRID, IEC 62443
• Strong consulting aptitude , including managing oneself, projects, and clients.
• Excellent problem-solving, logical thinking, and communication skills , with the ability to present clearly and effectively.
