Medical Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:

Supporting diagnostic tests and procedures across various areas of laboratory medicine, preparing and handling samples Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring adherence to quality control standards. Assisting in sample analysis Recording and organizing test results Collaborating with Medical Laboratory Scientists and other healthcare staff to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Contribute to maintaining laboratory systems and ensuring compliance with safety and procedural guidelines Managing the customer service aspect of the business from the front desk.

Requirements:

Minimum of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, or a related field Proficiency in basic Medical Laboratory Technology and diagnostic support techniques

Strong laboratory skills, including sample collection, preparation, and handling

Knowledge of laboratory procedures and best practices in medical testing

Familiarity with quality control standards and safety protocols in healthcare labs

Close attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under supervision

Certification as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent is an advantage

Good interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork

Understanding of compliance and safety standards in laboratory environments
