Senior Test Analyst

Our client, a leading organization, is seeking a high-caliber Senior Test Analyst to manage and support end-to-end testing requirements, stakeholder coordination, and process enhancements. This is an excellent opportunity for a structured, detail-oriented professional to drive testing excellence across complex project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis & Test Planning

• Collaborate actively with business users and technical teams during requirement gathering and user story discussion calls.
• Review project documentation (Confluence, FSD, BRD, and user stories) to design comprehensive test scripts.
• Set up test data efficiently for both System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Execution & Defect Management

• Perform SIT testing meticulously once environments and software changes are deployed.
• Log, track, and manage defects, following up rigorously with technical teams for resolutions.
• Conduct retesting after bug fixes and manage defect closures or reopenings within JIRA.
• Provide database verification support during the testing cycle as required.

UAT Coordination & Support

• Coordinate testing phases across multiple user teams for UAT, regression, and rollback testing.
• Conduct user briefing sessions to explain system enhancements and updates clearly.
• Perform first-level analysis on user-reported bugs before escalating them to the tech team.
• Track testing artifacts and ensure timely JIRA updates to secure formal user sign-offs.

Deployment & Live Verification (LV)

• Organize User Live Verification (LV) briefing sessions ahead of scheduled release deployments.
• Manage LV nominations by collecting and coordinating user team schedules for deployment days.
• Secure final user LV sign-offs immediately following successful release deployment testing.
